From November 1936 until the end of the Spanish Civil War in 1939, Madrid was systematically bombed by the Condor Legion of Nazi Germany and by the Aviazione Legionaria of Fascist Italy, as well as by the artillery stationed in its surroundings.
This book-map, written and designed by two architects, professors at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, shows the traces of those bombings in the city today.
